Compaction is a downstream process of the screens and fine screens equipment. It allows to convey and / or compact the screenings (solid waste). A washing system is integrated in parallel with the compaction to contribute to the recovery of organic matter and so obtaining a better dryness of screenings. In summary, the objective is to reduce the volume and weight of waste allowing operators to reduce the cost of waste disposal.
